Leader performed a Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study of a former manufacturing plant that used chlorinated solvents for metal cleaning and preparation. The investigation resulted in the identification of a chlorinated solvent plume below the building structure. Soil vapor investigations and subsequent pilot testing resulted in the design and implementation of an in-situ bioremediation remedy. The remedial action significantly reduced the levels of chlorinated solvents in the subsurface. Following remediation, Leader prepared the Site Monitoring Plan for long term monitoring of the Site. This project was conducted under the New York State Voluntary Cleanup/Brownfields Program.
