Experience Summary

Ms. Holvey has over 30 years of experience working with both commercial and industrial clients on environmental and OSHA safety compliance issues, indoor air quality assessments, and health and safety issues.  Environmental compliance includes developing and conducting training programs for hazard communication and hazardous waste management.  Ms. Holvey has negotiated with OSHA and USEPA on behalf of clients with regard to safety and environmental compliance.

Ms. Holvey also performs indoor air quality assessments to evaluate worker risk to potential airborne contaminants.  These evaluations include walk-through surveys, interviewing employees, air monitoring and source investigation.  Specific analytes for air sampling include heavy metals, cyanide, microorganisms and volatile organics.  Results are evaluated and recommendations are made to reduce employee risk to workplace hazards.

As an experienced site Health and Safety Officer, Ms. Holvey has written health and safety plans, implemented these plans, and has acted as site project manager for field activities.  Such field activities included sampling and remediation of groundwater and soil for compliance programs required under New York State Department of Environmental Conservation consent orders.  Other related projects included designing and implementing site specific Permit Required and Non-Permit Confined Space procedures.
